Chabutra - Stories from India's Heartland

Chabutra is a quarterly graphic periodical, four volumes of which are out already. Each volume has 4-5 stories and sections on offbeat recipes, word games, beliefs & folklores, and doodle-along grids. This is a great way to re-ignite love for the physical book, while also increasing your IQ – India Quotient!

We tell stories about India - stories that aren't told enough, stories which resonate across echo chambers, stories that make complex social issues understood in interesting ways; beyond the regular formats. The hope is that the expressions were kept true to the story tellers and the nuances were retained.

To continue sharing these stories, we need your support. Each volume of Chabutra, from its creation to publication takes INR 50,000 if we do it at a minimal cost.
