Support NEET’s Summer Workshop in Balipara
This July, North East Educational Trust (NEET) is conducting a month-long Summer Workshop for children from the Balipara block of Sonitpur district. Coming from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, these children are participating in engaging sessions on dance, drama, music, and mime to enhance their creative expression and self-confidence. The workshops are being held at Chengelimora Higher Secondary School and NEET’s Anubhav Learning Centre from July 1 to 26, 2025, with over 200 children actively taking part.
The workshop will culminate in a vibrant performance event, ‘Ontorongo Aalap’, on July 27 at the 30th Assam Rifles Hall, Lokra, where the children will proudly showcase their talents. Your support will help us provide learning materials, nutritious meals, transportation, and facilitator support—ensuring these children enjoy a joyful, inclusive, and empowering summer.
