Computer Literacy Program for 25 Children

There is a huge demand for computer training from underprivileged children from nearby slums, as they feel computer training is extremely important in today’s scenario. But ever-present financial constraints and lack of low-cost computer training centres keep them away from availing the benefits of computer education. Most of the schools they go to, do not have the facilities for computer education. The lack of such access for children from poor families is too high. Therefore, there is an urgent need to address the issue by providing computer education which will help them to have a better future.

Children will learn to use tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel along with learning to surf the internet.

Our centre will also provide certificates in basic computer courses to children on successful completion of the course.

Computer learning opportunities will also provide success and empowerment to the underprivileged children in this computer-enabled and connected society.

This useful, relevant, and quality computer training will help children in finding better paying, respectable jobs in future. This, we believe, will help them live a life of dignity and confidence and also help arrest the problem of unemployment in our country.
