Concert For Covid

It's been almost 6 months that the world has been challenged by Covid-19. In these difficult times we are all constantly trying to improvise and adapt to the rapid changes taking place around us. And in the process, learning to help ourselves and others. 

On that note, we are a group of students from Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon trying to find ways to do our bit. 

This endeavour originally started out as another fundraiser “Can I do for Covid”, with a series of concerts that took place. With new ideas and learnings we are striving to continue with our efforts and concerts!

We invite you to join us and help us help the ones in need. 

All the funds collected will go to the India COVID Response Fund (ICRF) managed by Give India. Give India is a well-known and trusted non profit organisation.

It has 100+ credible NGOs under its wing who are working on-ground to support the required interventions with prevention, healthcare infrastructure, livelihood support and essentials for people in need.

Coronavirus has been keeping us at home since late March and has claimed 4000+ lives in India. At the time of writing this, total cases in India are over 144,000. The coronavirus pandemic is one of the worst health crises the country has faced in over a century. 

Our fundraiser, 'concert for Covid' aims to help out people in need during these difficult times by raising money for an initiative by Give India, where resources are given directly to the people who need them through organisations working on the grass root level. 

We plan on raising money through donations from people who support the cause and hope to give back to donors by organising musical performances by students, teachers and friends as a show of support. 

We feel it's important to share a little joy in the world however we can, whether it is by giving money to those in need, or by hosting musical events to keep one's mind off of the pandemic.
