The Covid-19 Pandemic has shown us the wrath of nature as wild animal trafficking & exploitation continues undeterred. The pandemic is likely to have emerged from a wet market where bats, pangolins and other endangered wildlife were being slaughtered and sold for bush meat and aphrodisiac preparations. The illegal wildlife trafficking industry is a multi billion dollar industry second next to narcotics, gun running & human trafficking. The concern is that combined with global warming, indiscriminate deforestation, illegal & unsustainable harvesting of endangered wildlife will only result in more pandemics in the future.

As a social intervention non profit charity - Wildlife SOS will educate people about preventing habitat fragmentation, nature protection & wildlife conservation to help reduce the human wildlife interface resulting in conflict. Our goal is to use outreach and awareness through social media and online platforms to encourage people to respect and coexist with nature in harmony. We have to protect Nature if humans want to stay alive & survive on planet earth! Wildlife SOS aims to create awareness and educate people on how to protect nature and co-exist with wildlife in harmony.

Our Hotlines, rescue teams & medical facilities continue to function during Covid lockdown and we need to raise financial resources to procure life saving medical equipment, PPE kits, food & medical supplies, logistics etc which is the need of the hour to continue our work.

The impact we hope to achieve is to use our outreach & education to draw urgent attention about the intricate connection between humans and other creatures on this planet. An increased appreciation towards nature and tolerance towards wildlife and animals is urgently needed. Rampant pollution and dumping of trash needs to be reconsidered. A change in human mindset where they adapt responsible behaviour towards nature and animals is a necessity. Create compassion in the minds of people and prevent such pandemics in the future.
