Covid Rahat Sewa- Support to give Milk & Ration for Newborns of Domestic workers who lost jobs in pandemic

The pandemic has disrupted everyday living, and has led to increasing poverty, hunger and economic downfall. It has made domestic workers most vulnerable due to loss of jobs. Families are struggling to feed themselves. New mothers are suffering from malnutrition and are unable to provide their newborns with milk. The Ladli Foundation Trust is seeking support for newborns from slums in Delhi NCR whose mothers are unable to provide them with basic nutrition by providing  milk supply, dry ration, sanitary kits etc. More than 1 lakh beneficiaries have already been reached. You can support the organisation in providing milk to newborns at the small cost of ₹1,500 per month. 

The second covid wave has destructively impacted the lives of the people financially and mentally. The pandemic has disrupted everyday living & given rise to other shadow pandemics such as unemployment, economic downfall, increasing poverty, hunger, violence against women, and disaster in the healthcare infrastructure. It has made domestic workers & laborers most vulnerable due to loss of jobs. These families are struggling to feed themselves, new mothers are suffering from malnutrition and are unable to provide their newborns with milk. Since the pandemic began, Ladli Foundation has been tirelessly working at the grassroot level to provide Dry Ration, Milk, Sanitary Kits, Masks & Hand Wash to Domestic & Migrants Laborers in different slums of Delhi NCR. The organisation has impacted more than 1 lakh families and continues to work with local authorities to identify people in extreme need.

The expected outcome is to address hunger and malnutrition which lower immunity and make the body susceptible to COVID-19 and other life-threatening diseases. Crisis and distress drives people to rioting and robbery thereby disrupting society's overall peace and well-being. Ladli Foundation wants to rescue the communities that they work in from this crisis.
