Story

Crowdfunding Campaign for Kuda Mirpur Cremation Ground - End the Wait for Dignity in Death

Help build a cremation ground for Dalit communities in Kuda Mirpur village and eliminate the agonizing wait during the rainy season.

The Problem:

In Kuda Mirpur village, Dalit communities lack a proper cremation ground. While some land exists, the crucial interment site (samadhi) remains unbuilt. This simple but dire gap causes immense hardship during the rainy season. When someone passes away, families are forced to wait for days, sometimes even two, for the downpour to cease for a respectful cremation. This agonizing wait adds unbearable stress and pain to an already grieving community.

Our Solution:

Together, we can build the missing interment site and transform the existing land into a dignified cremation ground for the Dalit people of Kuda Mirpur. With your contribution, we will purchase construction materials, hire labor, and complete the vital samadhi within this Year.

Your Impact:

Provide a dignified final resting place: No more waiting. This project ensures families can cremate their loved ones with respect, regardless of weather conditions.

Ease the burden on grieving families: Eliminate the physical and emotional toll of delayed cremations, allowing families to focus on mourning and healing.

Promote equality and respect: Access to a proper cremation ground signifies equal treatment and dignity for all, regardless of caste.

How You Can Help:

Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to our goal. Donate now and be a part of creating a more just and compassionate community for the Dalit people of Kuda Mirpur.

Donation Tiers:

₹100: Provides essential bricks for the samadhi construction.

₹500: Contributes to hiring skilled laborers.

₹1,000: Helps purchase cement and other vital materials.

₹5,000: Makes a significant impact, bringing us closer to completion.

Spread the Word:

Share this campaign with your friends, family, and networks. Your collective action can make a real difference for the people of Kuda Mirpur.
