Cyclone Michaung Relief and Rehabilitation Fund for affected communities in Chennai

Our hearts ache as we witness the devastating impact of Cyclone Michaung on the low-income communities (aka slums) in Chennai. Heavy rains have submerged homes, leaving families stranded and desperate for help. The situation is critical, and we urgently need your support to provide immediate aid.

Immediate support is required in the following Low-income Communities (slums) in Chennai, which have been affected badly by the cyclone- KMGarden, Pk colony, Puliyanthope, Pattalam, Chinthathiripet, Srinivasapuram and Ayothikuppam

Urgent Requirements for the above Communities:

- Raw Materials for Food Preparation: Families are struggling without access to proper meals. Your contribution can provide essential raw materials to help them prepare a warm, nourishing meal.

- Candles and Matchboxes: With power outages and flooded streets, families are in the dark. Candles and matchboxes can bring some light and comfort during this challenging time.

- Mosquito Coils: The stagnant water increases the risk of mosquito-borne diseases. Mosquito coils protect families, especially young children and the elderly.

- Instant Food (Breads, Biscuits, Maggie etc): Easily accessible and ready-to-eat food items like bread and biscuits can provide quick sustenance to those in immediate need.

- Water Bottles: Clean drinking water is a basic necessity. Your support can ensure families can access safe and clean water during this crisis.
