ACCELERATE ACTION: CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY (IWD)' 2025
Oxfam’s India Inequality Report 2022 highlights that India accounts for half the global gender digital divide, with only a third of internet users being women. Sampark aims to set the stage to address this gap on IWD '25 by building women’s digital literacy for social, financial, and healthcare welfare.
ACTIVITIES UNDER THE CAMPAIGN:
ORGANISE AND CONDUCT EVENT: DIGIT-ALL FOR HER- BRIDGING THE DIGITAL DIVIDE
Objective: The event will make migrant women aware of the importance of digital literacy, online welfare schemes, cyber threat, and fraud awareness.
Ask for Support: We seek sponsorship for the EVENT FOR 500 migrant women to gain awareness about digital literacy addressing the gender digital divide.
Impact: 500 migrant women learn from a professional trainer about the utilization, benefits, challenges of using digital devices, internet usage, and break myths about illiteracy being a barrier.
Offer donations towards the purchase of digital devices for women to unlock new social and economic welfare opportunities, and digital inclusion.
