DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION BY USE OF IT & DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT FOR QUALITY EDUCATION

Corporate Schools in the nearby towns are modernizing their class rooms with Digital Equipment but with very high school fee structure. The local villagers are unable to provide funds for their wards to get admission to such schools and their wards shall loose the opportunity of such latest technology in education and they will lag behind in school education and future professional courses (B.Tech & MBBS) compared to students who can afford higher fee structure. This will create a huge gap between children of rich and poor. This will create inferiority feelings amongst children of underprivileged students who are the students of our not–for-profit organization. Bandla Bapaiah Vidya Samsthala Committee is a 100 year old school/ junior College and serving underprivileged children and in their interest we propose to implement digital transformation of school and junior college ie, classes 6 to 10 and classes 11 and 12.

We will establish a computer lab, and 8 digital class rooms with 3 D Digital Boards and accessories such as cameras and speakers. These will enable us to use the normal classroom as virtual classrooms whenever required.

To provide HD camera for recoding short videos of teaching by teachers and students on important topics. There short videos shall help the students to revise the lessons easily and several times. This will enhance the understanding of each topic thoughly.

The HD camera can be used to transmit class room live teachings to students at home through zoom sessions during holidays or during lockdown time. In case of heavy rains at times school may be closed and if teachers are able to come they can organise online classes too. This can also be done during summer time.

Competitions for making of best vedios can be organized.

The teaching and learning processes shall improve drastically. The students shall be able to understand the lessons thoroughly due 3D effect. The teachers can also go back previous part of lesson for explaining again, in case of any doubts to students.

As each 3D digital class room is also a virtual classroom, the experts can teach from any location in the world.

Making of short videos by teachers and selected students on important topics are useful for revision of these topics at home by students using mobile phones.

Awards for best videos will enhance quality of videos, as the students shall put their best efforts.

These facilities will impact 1000 students by providing online classes to students during summer holidays or during lock down or restriction period due to Covid or heavy rains etc.
