Diwali for All

Not everyone's Diwali is brighter, sweeter, and filled with colours. Many underprivileged families do not celebrate Diwali and pass it like just another day. Their Diwalis are quiet mostly!

Children of financially disadvantaged families only hear kids bursting crackers, see people wearing new clothes, and watch others enjoying delicious food delights. Diwali isn't just a festival for these children but a dream.

Apart from low-income families, Old age homes inmates, Mentally challenged and Visually challenged kids and adults rarely get to celebrate Diwali. Team Everest believes in 'Diwali for everyone’. Festivals like these should bring people together and not divide them.

With a dream of ‘Diwali for Everyone,’ Team Everest has run the ‘Diwali For All’ initiative every year since 2010. As part of it, Team Everest fundraises from individuals to gift dresses, sweets, and stationery kits to the beneficiaries.

The beneficiaries include Parentless, Single Parented, Rural, and Visually Challenged Children. Also, Mentally Challenged and Old age homes inmates and Homeless kids.

All the school-going kids will get a new dress and stationery kit worth Rs 750 and Rs 1000. All the college children will get a Diwali Gift Box worth Rs 1000. And all the adult beneficiaries will get a new dress worth Rs 750.

Team Everest' eyes to create happy families during Diwali. Additionally, to delight and make children feel loved and cared for through Diwali gifts!

In terms of numbers, Team Everest aims to gift 5000+ dresses and 3000+ stationery kits, and 2000+ Diwali Gift Boxes this year.
