Vidyarthi Sahayyak Samiti (VSS) is a public trust working in education for more than 65 years. VSS provides affordable hostel &amp; mess facilities to students with lower economic background coming to Pune from rural areas for higher education, without any colour, caste or creed considerations. VSS provides complete support like computer labs, libraries, gym/yoga classes, medical care, expert guidance on life &amp; soft skills to tap their true potential and make them well rounded, responsible citizens of the society. VSS is therefore considered as Centre of Youth Transformation and aims to make a difference in the areas of Higher Education for weaker sections, Women empowerment and Eradication of rural poverty. VSS also inculcate values of Equality, Discipline, Self-Reliance, Cleanliness and Respect for Labour in students. VSS considered the changing needs of society and has adopted a goal of inducing at least 10% of our students on to the path of entrepreneurship. Currently, 750+ students are getting benefit from samiti which includes boys and girls.
