Story
The children from the rural government schools and various homes including special children home do not have a platform to showcase their talent and learn. Dream India team visits one rural school every month and conduct elocution, Essay, drawing, Thirukural, Quiz and cultural events for all the children. Volunteers interested in serving rural government school children are welcome to participate and motivate the children.
Dream India team visits one rural school every month and conduct elocution, Essay, drawing, Thirukural, Quiz and cultural events for all the children. Volunteers interested in serving rural government school children are welcome to participate and motivate the children.
These events typically costs about 40,000 INR to 50,000 INR which includes lunch, snacks and prizes for all the children (usually 200 plus).
Yearly Event – Annual Meet at Chennai for all TN based schools and homes
30 children from each of these school participate in a yearly event at Chennai where about 10 to 12 school children participate. This event takes about 40,000 INR for each school.
The special children from Vasantham who started attending the event in 2008 turned out to be the overall champions in 2022. The confidence and the self belief children have today is the testimonial for the impact created.
