“If you educate a man, you educate an individual. But if you educate a woman, you educate a nation” is a well known proverb. Education is a great equaliser and skill is a sure way to conquer poverty. Whilst it’s heartening to see many parents are sending their girls to college, they need financial support and skill exposure to fulfill their dreams. Add to this is social stigma which is a barrier to empowerment. All they need is one opportunity!
Prerana has been working towards the cause of education and bridging the skill gap for the last 16 years, thanks to many individuals and organizations for their support. “Every deserving student shall have access to Education, Skill Development and Employment” is the vision that drives many selfless souls associated with Prerana.
