Educate to Elevate: Support for Bright future of Labor's children

IMPACT STORY:

Daksh, a bright 6-year-old boy, has faced significant challenges in his young life. Suffering from paralysis on the left side of his hand and leg, since his birth. His father, working as a laborer, earns a modest income that barely covers the family’s basic needs. When SBF connected with Daksh's family, they immediately saw the potential in the young boy. Initially, Daksh was shy, felt out of place at SBF center. However, theSBF's nurturing environment and supportive staff soon worked their magic. Gradually, Daksh began to participate in class activities and workshops, gaining confidence and making remarkable progress in his studies.

Today, Daksh is an enthusiastic participant in his classes. His academic performance has improved significantly, and he dreams of becoming a doctor to serve society and contribute in making the world a better place. His journey is a testament to the transformative power of education and support.

Daksh is one of 70 children from low-income backgrounds who are currently studying at the SBF center. These children are given a platform to explore and learn in an environment filled with care and love. The foundation’s commitment to providing educational support and fostering a sense of belonging has not only improved the lives of these children but also inspired them to dream big and aim high. Through SBF, children like Daksh are finding their paths to brighter futures.
