Education Support Programme for Students of Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Virar East, Palghar District, Maharashtra, India(Holistic Development of Child)

In India, despite our overall technological progress and a robust developing economy, the quality of education in our schools has always been woefully deficient. There is an urgent need to introduce the concept of holistic education in schools. While academics has to be stressed upon, overall development of children is equally important. Holistic education at the primary school level leads to better self-governance, higher self-esteem, and overall emotional development. . Child Help Foundation is looking forward to support 100 scholarships to underprivileged students of Lal Bahadur Shastri School from class I to class X.

Child Help Foundation aspires to provide a framework and support structure for underprivileged children. This project is primarily aimed at providing holistic education to students of the selected school and involves interacting directly with the community and local officials. Child Help Foundation creates the strategies and works towards effective educational development in these areas.

The project consists of capacity building, advocacy, and counseling sessions, which will provide hands-on opportunities for students, along with their teachers, to explore the use of modern learning aids and instruments from a team of experienced facilitators and counselors.

Child Help Foundation has executed several such projects in the past with a remarkable measure of success. We are proficient at identifying, planning and executing projects in the educational sphere.

Education is the pillar of society, it shapes young lives, paves their future and thus the country is benefited in the long run due to the availability of educated manpower. The economic benefits of such a project, in the long run, are immense. Migration to cities can be effectively curbed if skilled manpower and jobs can be created in rural India.
