Educational Initiatives

Concern India Foundation works towards helping people help themselves by making the disadvantaged

self-reliant and enabling them to lead a life of dignity. Our support to educational initiatives impacted

15,631 children and 21288 youth. Our work has impacted in prevention of child labour, child marriages

and providing educational opportunities to children across India.

Our support includes a school for special children, a home for orphan girl children and educational

opportunities for children from marginalised backgrounds.

In order to support these educational initiatives different activities are carried out like training special

children to develop their self-help skills, academic skills, social skills and pre-vocational skills.

Children in marginalised schools are given opportunities in extracurricular activities, like theatre, dance,

arts & crafts and sports to develop their over-all personality.

Our initiatives impact 5 schools were 1260 children are given an opportunity for their holistic

development in academics as well as extra-curricular activities.

Our special school reaches 150 special children and develops in skills in self-help and academics which

helps to be independent.
