This year, we are reaching out with a bigger dream and a deeper purpose — to bring hope, joy, and lasting change to the lives of 600 underprivileged children through Kalakriti, an initiative by Proud Indian NGO.

Kalakriti is not just an event. It’s a celebration of hidden talent, a platform where children from under-resourced communities in and around Bengaluru come alive through the power of art and culture. Last year, we touched the lives of over 300 children. This year, we aim to double the impact.

🎨 What is Kalakriti?

Kalakriti is a day of colours, culture, and confidence. With 13+ art and cultural events, it offers children a space to express themselves, compete healthily across communities, and dream without limits. From painting and dance to drama and music, each event is designed to bring out their spark.

🌱 Short-term Goal (1 Day):

Many children in India grow up without access to creative opportunities. Kalakriti changes that — by creating a platform of equality, where every child gets a stage to shine, learn, and grow.

🌠 Long-term Vision (1 Year):

We don’t stop after the event. Kalakriti identifies truly talented children and sponsors their professional training, tracks their progress, and supports them throughout the year — nurturing not just their talent, but their journey.
