Help me support a cause close to my heart

Over the past 13 years, Anudip has been recognized globally for its unique technology-driven initiative to train and empower more than 100,000 underserved Indian youth thereby touching over 425,000 needy people. Anudip’s target market comprises of youth and women from communities of migrants, political refugees, reformed insurgents, impoverished families below poverty levels, rescued victims of trafficking and persons with disabilities, religious and ethnic minorities and tribals. Anudip’s intervention programs are designed to assist such youth step out of the generational poverty trap, often riddled with large debts, and shield them from social evils like crime, drugs, human trafficking, insurgency and early marriage. Programs such as DIYA, SAVE, BEST and IMPACT focus exclusively on developing employability and entrepreneurship skills for these marginalized youth which gives them a chance to earn sustainable wages, triple their family incomes, and reap the long-term benefits of working in a structured environment. Through these digital livelihoods programs, Anudip has provided job placement services to over 55,000 youth in the digital economy jobs and set up over 200 micro-entrepreneurship co-operatives for marginalized women from remote locations of India, helping beneficiaries access needs such as healthcare services, siblings’ education and create financial savings for themselves and their family. This new found financial stability has enabled them to enhance their purchasing power which in turn contributes towards their community’s prosperity. Anudip has developed and incorporated innovative ideas and technologies to improve the efficiency of its programs, back-office systems and internal learning tools to achieve its mission. Anudip has set up a separate corporate placement cell with strategic relationships with 200+ IT-enabled-services and e-Commerce employers, including leading brands like Tech Mahindra, Amazon, TCS, Flipkart, and Walmart.Examples of Anudip innovations using technology include:1.     Leveraging crowdsourced online tasks that earn revenue for livelihoods for rescued victims of sex trafficking. These women begin with low levels of education and self-esteem, but are able to perform graphics- and image-related tasks online to earn a sustainable income as a co-operative2.     Using the benefits of rapidly evolving 3D Printing technology to offer lightweight, low-flexible and customizable 3D-printed prosthetic arms at scale for needy amputees. Also deploying brain-signal sensors to actuate motors in these arms to provide a prosthetic experience on par with natural arms.Anudip’s Learning and Development (L&amp;D) training tools and resources allow student mobilizers to upskill themselves as Market Executives (MEs), and act as an effective ambassadors of the organization, gain in-depth knowledge of market advances, conduct seminars and workshop in schools, colleges and community centers, and answer queries about job placement services and career opportunities. This facility has resulted in rapidly increasing enrollment at Anudip in the face of growing competition.On average, a Anudip graduate earns on average $120 per month i.e. $1440 annually upon being placed in entry level jobs. Family incomes of our students are on average, $1428 per year in urban areas and $1000 per year in rural locations. Thus when an Anudip graduate starts earning, there is an immediate increase in family income of 100% for urban beneficiaries and 143% for rural beneficiaries. This has a major transformative impact on their families, lifting them from a life of poverty to one of dignity and hope.
