Empowering 20,000 Children & 4000 teachers to Prevent Child Sexual Abuse

Bachpan Save The Innocence (BSTI) was started in 2021 to work on the prevention of child sexual abuse.

We have already conducted 2000+ workshops, reached 60,000+ children and caregivers, and work with 400+ trained volunteers across Tier 2 and Tier 3 regions, including government schools.

This fundraiser builds on proven on-ground work, not an idea.

The goal we are chasing

We are raising ₹20,00,000 to protect children before abuse happens by reaching:

• 20,000 children with safety education
• 4000 teachers as first responders to children

What your donation does

• ₹10,000 supports one full batch of 50 teachers, equipping them to recognise warning signs and act early. The program duration is 3 hours.
• ₹6,000 supports 100 children, strengthening protection for the children. The program duration is 4 hours.
• ₹3,000 supports 50 children, strengthening protection for the children. The program duration is 4 hours.

Why This Work Is Urgent

• 1 in every 2 children in India has experienced sexual abuse
• In over 90% of cases, the abuser is someone known to the child
• Less than 2% of cases are reported

Most abuse continues not because people don’t care, but because children don’t know what is unsafe, and adults don’t know how to respond.

For Children

1. Approximately ₹200 per teacher
2. ₹ 800,000 for 4000 teachers
