Empowering Migrant Communities through Life Insurance Education and Support

Life in rural Rajasthan can be challenging, and even unforgiving. A lack of resources and livelihoods combined with limited access to quality healthcare can make health emergencies debilitating. A death in a family has the ability to flip the life of a family upside down, forcing the family to seek financial support from local moneylenders who will impose cripplingly high interest rates and will want assets mortgaged, and from friends and relatives who are often struggling financially themselves. Recovering from such debt can go on to mean not only the permanent loss of assets, but also many years of future deprivation.

We believe that everyone deserves access to the financial protection and security that life insurance provides. We're committed to helping families in rural Rajasthan understand how such coverage can help protect their families and futures. To achieve this, closing the wide gaps we see both in understanding the importance of having insurance and in understanding the pathways to access such insurance are key in making insurance a viable alternative.

We want to empower rural families by educating them on the benefits of life insurance. In the first phase, our goal is to reach 1000 families across 30 villages and to supply the knowledge and resources they need to make well informed decisions about their life insurance coverage. By donating to our campaign, you will be helping us provide such education and support. We believe such efforts are key in making structural changes in the lives of the less fortunate.
