Child Care Institutions Model for vulnerable and covid affected Children.

The programme ensures the safety of the vulnerable and covid affected children and provides all basic necessities for their overall growth. It encourages them to give up the street life and join the mainstream to become successful in their lives. As the Child Care Institutions are run in the Govt. School premises, they reinforce a positive atmosphere in the children. As these children are rescued from street life at an early age, there are high chances to bring positive changes in their behaviour and mainstream in the formal schooling and as a result, the children will lead a dignified life. This programme will accommodate all categories of children: children who have lost both parents, those who have lost a parent and whose family is unable to look after them as well as children whose families are distressed due to the pandemic. The child care institution will be housed in a government school and modelled after a residential school for children in need of care and protection in the aftermath of COVID. The facility will have close family contact and a definite plan to work to restore normalcy as soon the family recovers. 

1. To ensure children are continuing their education for vulnerable and even after losing their one or both the parents to Covid pandemic
2. Act as a bridge to enroll children and families in social entitlements and in govt. schemes made for covid affected and non covid affected people.
3. Conduct awareness generation drives appropriate behavior in community
4. To ensure rights of children for care and protection and fulfill their basic needs to streamline with the community along with their social respect and dignity
5. Counseling to give emotional and psychological support to the children and immediate family members
6. Necessary social entitlement (aadhar Cards, E-Shram Cards, Ration Cards and Medical certificate (in case of differently abled persons)) for children and immediate family members
7. Support in declaration of legal guardianship by CWC (in Case of orphan children)

1. Children will give-up street life and will be mainstreamed in education.
2. Develop Skill Development among the children (Academic + Spoken English).
3. To bring spirit and enthusiasm among the girls for active participation in extracurricular activities.
4. Nurturing and Empowering the talents in the children.
5. Building Self Confidence and ability among the children to deal with the situations and find solutions.
6. Bringing more competency levels by improving the academic performance of the children.
7. Observing a positive change in the behaviour and attitude of the children towards their lives.
8. Significantly improve in the health and fitness of the children
