Story

Imagine going to school but not truly learning. This is the harsh reality for thousands of tribal children in Rajasthan. Pushpa, a Class 7 student, faces discrimination and poverty; Mayank, also Class 7, skips classes because education feels irrelevant. Millions like them experience rote learning, leading six out of ten children in Rajasthan to drop out before Class 10 — losing both education and hope.

Our Solution

At Swapnisthan Foundation, we transform education for children aged 6-16 from marginalized Bhil, Meena, Gadiya Lohar, Nut, SC, and OBC communities by fostering learning through experience, exploration, and creativity:

  • Experiential Learning: Math through markets, language through storytelling, science in fields.
  • Exposure Visits: Trips to farms, museums, and science centers open new worlds.
  • Creative Exploration: Art, music, debates, and projects build confidence.
  • Nutrition: Three nourishing meals daily fuel their growth.

Our unique “Panch Tatva of Transformation” approach nurtures children holistically from ages 5 to 16.

Why It Matters

Traditional education fails to prepare tribal children for life, perpetuating poverty and exclusion. Swapnisthan offers them tools to break this cycle — curiosity, confidence, and creativity — empowering children to inspire their communities and change futures.

Our Impact So Far

In a rented village space, our pilot program has sparked remarkable change. Once-silent children now lead plays, solve problems, and express their ideas boldly. Parents take pride in their children’s growth. These pilots are shaping an adaptable, sustainable educational model poised to grow.

Your Support Can Change Lives

We need ₹15,00,000 to sustain and expand this transformative education for more tribal children over the next year.

Here’s an example of what ₹10,000 covers for one month:

  • ₹4,000 Learning Materials: Books, art kits, science tools, story resources
  • ₹2,500 Nutritious Meals: Three wholesome meals daily for one child
  • ₹1,500 Facilitator Training: Monthly staff development
  • ₹1,000 Exposure Visits: Trips for two children to museums, farms, or centers
  • ₹1,000 Facility Improvements: Seating, play corners, or kitchen gardens

Every rupee you donate directly fuels hands-on learning, creative activities, and nutritious meals that nurture children’s minds, hearts, and futures.

Join Us

Together, we can give Rajasthan’s tribal children the meaningful education they deserve — an education that lights their path to hope and opportunity.
