About edYouth Learning Foundation:

Website: Welcome to EdYouth Learning Foundation

The reality in India is that quality education has become an exclusive right of the privileged, leading to a wide gap in the education system — an institutional gap. In response to this gap, edYouth Learning Foundation (ELF) was established in Juhu, Mumbai, with a mission to cater to the distinctive needs of college-going youth from marginalised sections. ELF's mission originated from the founders' experiences during their volunteer work from 2014 to 2024, where they witnessed educational disparities in the Juhu slums. Disappointment among youth with available tuition classes and a lack of guidance and mentorship became apparent issues. The COVID-19 pandemic further aggravated the institutional gap, forcing education institutions to transition to online learning, disproportionately affecting students from underprivileged sections.

Realizing the need for a comprehensive solution combining quality education with mentorship, ELF began its mission during the pandemic and in July 2021, ELF was incorporated as a Section 8 Company under the Companies Act, 2013. The working model of ELF combines quality education with mentorship to address the needs of socio-economically challenged students. The foundation acts as a catalyst for change, driven by a commitment to empower students and close the educational gap.
