Facilitating COVID19 vaccination for marginalised communities

The COVID19 pandemic is one of our generation's most significant social and economic crises, which has systematically exposed and exacerbated marginalised communities' exclusion. The unprecedented public health emergency and the subsequent lockdown and recovery measures have disproportionately impacted people living in marginalised and vulnerable communities. Many people living in these communities cannot register/access for themselves the vaccination.

LEPRA would like to ensure that these vulnerable communities are vaccinated at the earliest so that they are not at risk of getting or transmitting or spreading COVID19 further.

Our main objective of the project is to ensure vaccine equality and we handhold the beneficiaries right from the registration process, transportation from home to vaccination centre, meals, provide them with a safety kit (masks, sanitisers etc.) and drop them back home.
