Feed Children. Starve Cancer.

Approximately 76,000 children may develop cancer every year in India. 40% out these are severely malnourished at the time of diagnosis.

For children with cancer, nutrition can mean the difference between life and death. Every child deserves a chance at a cure.

We work with government and charity cancer hospitals to support children with nutritionists, food and supplements and nourish the children to fight cancer. Using a multi-pronged approach of nutritional counselling and diet planning, meal supplementation, ration baskets and hot meals, we are tackling a simple but ignored aspect of a child’s successful recovery from cancer.

While undergoing treatment, it is necessary that the children have freshly prepared nutritious food in sufficient quantity and don't stay hungry for a long period of time. We tackle this by providing hot meals at hospitals to the affected children.

•  When part of the FoodHeals Program, 81% of patients increased their nutritional status or did not show a deterioration in nutritional status despite cancer therapy like chemotherapy or radiation*
• Patients are more likely to complete treatment, with 95% of new patients returning for a second visit or continuing treatment*
