Feed Strays Programme

To create a proper shelter/home for providing medical care for not only stray dogs but also for the abandoned animals like Cows, Buffalos, Cats & other animals who are left on the streets of this city uncared for by their actual owners just because of some accidents or health problems or of old age.

We proposed to have a facility of Medical Centre which will be 24x7 operational for the accident victims and Post-Op Care till their recovery. It does not end at only providing Medical Care but extends to Rehabilitation. The immediate requirement is to acquire land to set up the Medical and Care Centre for the abandoned and stray animals. Creating a Nursing Facility to provide Pre and Post-Op Care.

Today, we feeds about 250 dogs in various localities such as C.R. Park, Kalkaji, Greater Kailash and Okhla Phase 1 & 3. Every day from our home, food that amounts to 50Kg of Rice, 20Kg of Meat, along with Milk, Eggs, Biscuits and Medicine, is transported to all these areas. The dogs are personally fed and medicated. And to keep the locality clean, she makes sure that they are fed in disposable plates, which are then properly discarded in dustbins.

As our operation is increasing, and we definitely wants to increase her area of reach, we have set up the Swargasaathi Charitable Trust, to accommodate the procurement of more funds from individuals who are, like her, interested, in the good of these Dogs. We not only needs funds, but also more volunteers to help us in our mission.
