Fight Against Blindness

Visually impaired girls have a double burden bearing the loss of sight and being a girl. They live in pitiful conditions and mostly depend on the mercy of people. They have been abandoned by their parents and siblings. 

Having no skills, no upskilling, and no financial resources, their life is on the verge of severe exploitation in the human trafficking and begging industry.  

Battle For Blindness Foundation pledges to provide educational and vocational training to these visually impaired girls to live their life with dignity. 

Battle for Blind Foundation has shown hope to many faces, and you can say the hope is brought by Ex-Indian Army officer Dileep Kumar After retirement, he dedicated his whole life and earnings to visually impaired girls. He and his ex-army personnel volunteer themselves to raise the funds for the noble cause.  

Our Uttam Nagar centre in Delhi provides all the basic amenities for visually impaired girls. Girls from UP, Bihar, MP, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Odisha, Punjab, and West Bengal live here without paying even a single penny.   

We also provide training and resources to qualify for the government exams under the visually impaired quota. Our assistance helped them to achieve lucrative jobs in the private sector too. Our sports trainers train them in a very sophisticated manner so that they can qualify for the Paralympics. 

Homelessness is the major woe of our society. Giving shelter is a sigh of relief so that they can think only of their career and upliftment. We want to make a world where visually impaired people will get equality and feel independence. Our vision is to train them the advanced technology so that they can work like normal people. If they will become independent and earn money, their children won’t beg for a meal.
