Story
Team Everest runs free evening study centers in 9 villages in Tiruvannamalai Dt, Tamilnadu (150Kms from Chennai).
600 Students are a part of these study centers. Parents of most of these students are from economically challenged background with many of them working for daily wages in fields, brick kilns and weaving.
The covid pandemic has affected many families in these rural areas. They have lost their jobs, salary for one or more months or have taken a cut in their salary. Children of these families are suffering due to the lack of good food, not being able to involved in learning activities, and lack of proper mobile phones to attend online classes.
Fight Against Covid project is aimed at providing Groceries, Educational Kit, mobile phones to attend online classes and financial support to such 1000 families so that they overcome the current Covid crisis.
Support Livelihood of many families in rural areas who has affected by Covid crisis.
