Food Donation Drive (Annadhanam) at Government Hospitals

No one should go hungry while caring for a loved one.

Kind India Foundation is organizing a weekly Food Donation Drive at Niloufer Hospital, Hyderabad, to support patients, caretakers, and their families—many of whom go hours or even days without a proper meal.

Every day, new patients and their families travel long distances from small villages and remote areas to Niloufer Hospital. They come seeking treatment for their children, not knowing the city, unfamiliar with the hospital, and often with no money left for food after spending on travel and medicines. They wait on hospital floors for hours or even days — tired, hungry, and helpless.

For them, the free meals we provide are not just food — they are comfort, strength, and a sign that someone cares.

"My 3-month-old baby is in the ICU. I haven’t left the hospital in three days. I hadn’t eaten since yesterday, and today I stepped out, hoping to find something. That’s when I saw Kind India Foundation serving free food. It felt like someone finally saw me. Thank you, Team Kind India," says the father, holding back tears.

Our Impact So Far
