Free Residential School for Children with Disabilities

The concern of the Mathru is to promote the inclusion of children ( persons )with disabilities to live with dignity and self- esteem in the mainstream society through equality and opportunities by providing academic and non - academic skills.

In order to reach out the above mentioned concerns ( goals ), Mathru is running a free residential school for the blind and hearing impaired, children and thus provide quality based education from grade one to grade tenth. For the adult visually impaired and hearing impaired children , Mathru provides prevocational and vocational skills like screen printing, beautician courses, horticulture, baking classes, book binding, paper products and tailoring. Mathru is also running rehabilitation center for multiple disabled children like, mental retorted, cerebral palsy, autism by providing necessary life skills and also prevocational and vocational skills.

Mathru empowers the differently abled children with quality education, skill development programs and vocational training and thus ensures that such children lead their lives with dignity and self respect without burdening their families or the community with their economical stability.
