Frisbees for Futures - Daan Utsav - Joy of Giving 2025

For many marginalised children and youth in India, play is more than fun — it’s the gateway to confidence, teamwork and belonging.

At One All, we use mixed-gender Ultimate Frisbee to bring young people together, build leadership, and create safe spaces where children learn to trust themselves and each other. Over the years, shy beginners have become team captains, peer mentors and community role models. But to reach many more young people, we need basic equipment and safe, organised events.

This Daan Utsav (Oct 2–8) we’re launching Frisbees for Futures, a focused push to provide the essentials our youth need to practice, grow and compete:

• Discs: 500 practice discs (Chennai 200, Gudalur 300) so every session has enough equipment.
• Equipment kits: 16 full training kits (jersey, practice & official discs, cones, bag, first-aid kit) to set up sustainable local groups.
• Community tournaments: Two large local tournaments (≈300 children each) that bring families and communities together, celebrate participation and encourage regular play.

A single practice disc (₹250) equips a child to practice, bond with teammates and build confidence. A full kit turns a casual gathering into a steady training cohort. Our tournaments are more than matches — they are community celebrations that spotlight talent, strengthen local support for youth sport, and help young people feel proud and seen.

With your support we will directly reach 600+ children and youth across Chennai and Gudalur with discs, kits and two community tournaments. We’ll post campaign updates during Daan Utsav and share a short impact report after the events so you can see the difference you helped make.
