My name is Aditya Pathak, and I am a cricket coach based in Kanpur. Cricket has been my passion since childhood, and like many kids growing up in India, I dreamt of representing the national team one day. However, life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with kidney failure, leading to two kidney transplants — first in 2013 and again in 2018. Though my dream of playing for the Indian cricket team couldn’t materialize, I never let go of the game I love. After my second transplant, I channeled my passion into coaching and now proudly train young aspiring cricketers. Recently, I received the incredible opportunity to represent Team India in the World Transplant Games 2025, to be held in Dresden, Germany this August. This is more than just a sporting event for me — it's a celebration of life, resilience, and second chances. I humbly request your support to help make this journey possible.
