Fundraising for Abhijeet Mehta

March 30th 2025 is the fifth birthday of Abhi's that we are marking without him here. Time moves both really fast and unbearably slow in grief and I really cannot believe that it has been 4.5 years since we last saw him and heard his voice...

While life has been a roller coaster since he died, the one thing that has remained constant is the love that has come our way from all of you who love Abhi. The other thing that has remained constant is me and all of you finding ways to keep him alive. And lastly, the thing that I have done over the last 4 years is to try to keep doing good in his name like he would have done if he were alive.

This is the fifth and probably last year that I plan to do this.

Over the last four years, we have raised close to 10 Lakhs, thanks to your generosity. We raised funds for the education of the girls of YUWA in Jharkhand for three years and last year we raised money for storybooks for children in Bangalore.

This year, I am raising funds for Parinaam - an NGO doing some amazing work in Bangalore. One of Parinaam's initiatives is their academic adoption programme that helps students from disadvantaged backgrounds enroll in school and ensure that they stay in school.

They also help children pursue higher studies and I am raising funds this year to support a few children with this. Read on for more information on this programme.
