The project objective is educational upliftment for economically poor students belonging to the backward class. This project help students who were unable to continue their education due to poverty and also gives free computer education training, English-speaking course, and skill development training to those unable to make their livelihood.

Trust has established SGECT Academy for computer and skill development Institution in select places where the backward class communities are concentrated in Bangalore district and to extend its activities in rural places, in order to execute its objectives, 

Trust has taken a premise of 2850 sq ft area to accommodate all skill development courses on a rental basis. Trust established a facilitation centre of the National Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication and intended to start skill Development courses. Basic Infra Structure has been secured through Donors and Trust needs funds for upgrading/inducting skill development courses. Trust takes a keen interest in providing Job opportunities for trained students from the SGECT Academy.

We foresee that students facing financial problems receive a quality education from SGECT Academy and make their livelihood. This will really help society in eradicating poverty and providing education / Skills to youths. Specially belonging to those below the poverty line. In order to encourage girls' education, special scholarship is given to girl students who are coming from Rural Areas. Our target is to Train 50 students in every quarter initially and make them self-reliable. Trust – appeal to prospective Donors to give and establish a fully pledged Skill Development Institute.
