Get Our Children To School ; Help Us Buy a Mini Van

The SHARON CHILDREN HOME in Mangalagiri , India needs to URGENTLY REPLACE its trusty old TukTuk ( Auto Rickshaw).

To that end we are opening a fund raising event called OPERATION TUKTUK/Mini Van

 The Sharon Children Home's TukTuk is an essential and important piece of equipment that transports over 45 primary and high school children from our orphanage to various local school daily in the town of Mangalagiri, India.

The distance to the schools being over 10 Km one way and often in extremely hot weather which without the services of a TukTuk makes it IMPOSSIBLE for the children to walk and attend school.

Our present old TukTuk is no longer mechanically reliable or structurally sound and in its present condition puts the safety of the children at risk.

With the price of repairs and ongoing running costs mounting it has made using our old Tuktuk uneconomic ....so sadly it has to go.

OUR GOAL

 The goal of the SHARON CHILDREN HOME is to raise enough finances by means of donations to purchase either a used or new Tuk Tuk/Mini Van based on the level of donations received.

FUNDS REQUIRED

The purchase price of a new Mini Van with all papers and registration documents is a total of INR 1200000.

The purchase price of a used Mini Van is INR 600000.

  TARGET DATE

We hope that with your financial help and support we can have the replacement Mini Van up and running and ready to go for the start of the new school year on 10 JUNE 2025.
