Gift a Meal, Gift a Smile: Nourish Vulnerable lives

India, ranked 107th out of 121 countries, faces a daunting hunger challenge. A shocking 189.2 million people in our country are undernourished, and almost 9 lakh children from six months to six years are severely malnourished.

The stark reality is even more disturbing when we learn from a 2019 UN report that nearly 3 million children under five died from malnutrition.

But in the face of these grim statistics, there is hope, which lies in our collective efforts. As part of Bhumi's volunteer-led initiative, we aim to alleviate hunger and malnutrition by providing wholesome meals to those most in need.

Our volunteers, now numbering 1123, have been a beacon of hope in this daunting task. Through 54 events in 2023, they've tirelessly cooked, collected, and distributed 18224 food packets, touching the lives of 16436 beneficiaries.
