Gift a school

In the hills of Kasar, Almora, there’s a small school that most people pass by without noticing. But for 40 children, it is their entire world.

The school has only four small classrooms, all crumbling and fragile. Roofs leak when it rains, blackboards are cracked, desks are broken, and dim lights barely illuminate the rooms. There’s no drinking water and no proper water connection in the toilets.

Yet every morning, these children climb a steep hill with hope in their eyes, carrying dreams bigger than their school can hold. They come to learn. They come to imagine a better future.

Their teachers do everything they can, but it’s nearly impossible to give these children the education they deserve in a school that struggles just to stay standing. Even the teachers face daily challenges in this environment.

We want to rebuild and expand their school, creating safe classrooms, clean water, functional toilets, proper desks and blackboards, computers, and all the basic amenities a school should have to truly inspire learning.
