Help me raise money to help create an education centre for disabled children

Our education and rehabilitation centres provide education, medical help, and resources to the physically and mentally disabled from disadvantaged families in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh.



India is home to over 50 million disabled people and yet the government and general public treat them with indifference. Without disabled-friendly policies, correct infrastructure, and inclusive education systems, disabled children are often pushed out of school. They struggle with unemployment, poor health, and have no hope of independence.



Led by Dr. Sangeeta Agarwal, who is herself visually challenged, our organisation run schools for the visually, hearing and, speech impaired where medical help, hearing aids, and special training is provided. We also have rehabilitation and education centres for mentally challenged children and an orthopaedic centre to help control disability in its early stages.



Our extensive audio library for visually challenged high school students supports their need to find independence and to map out a better life for themselves. So far, our programmes have helped over 10,000 disabled children and youths.
