Yet, millions of students across India remain disconnected from coding education simply because they do not have access to computers, internet facilities, or structured digital learning resources.

The Coding Kits initiative bridges this gap through physical, activity-based learning tools that teach coding and computational thinking — no device required.

The Challenge: India's Digital Learning Divide

India's technology sector is booming — but digital education access remains deeply unequal. Students in rural and underserved communities are being left behind.

 Additionally:

·      Only 54% of schools in India have functional internet connectivity.

·      Students in rural and low-income communities struggled most during the pandemic — lack of devices made online learning virtually inaccessible.

·      Several states' government schools still lack adequate digital infrastructure, shutting students out of coding and future-skills education.

While technology is shaping the future, millions of students are excluded from learning opportunities simply because they don't have access to computers.

This is the stage where curiosity is highest and foundational thinking patterns are formed. By reaching students at this critical juncture — before they are streamed into fixed academic tracks — we can open doors to technology, logical reasoning, and future careers in ways that last a lifetime.

Imagine a classroom in rural India — no computers, no Wi-Fi, no lab — and yet, a child confidently solving a logic puzzle, building an algorithm with cards, and explaining sequencing to her classmates. That is the future we are working towards.

Our vision is simple but powerful: every student in India, regardless of where they are born or what they own, deserves a fair chance at the skills that will define the next generation.

We believe that computational thinking is not a privilege — it is a right. When we hand a student a Coding Kit, we are not just giving them a learning tool. We are telling them: you belong in this future too.

Putting a Kit in Every Child's Hands

Our mission is to distribute 700 inclusive, offline Coding Kits to students in Classes 6 to 8 — children aged 11 to 14 — studying in government schools and underserved communities across India.

Each kit is thoughtfully designed to introduce real coding concepts — logic building, sequencing, algorithms, and problem-solving — through hands-on, activity-based experiences that need no screen, no electricity, and no prior knowledge of technology.

But this is more than an educational initiative. Every kit we distribute is a statement — that a child's zip code should not determine their future. That the digital divide can be crossed. That with the right support, every young mind can learn to think, solve, and create.
