Government School Beautification

Sri Takshashila Gurukul, a registered non-profit organization dedicated to inclusive education and creative student development for a School Beautification and Painting Initiative at Kannada Higher Primary Girls School No. 5, Belagavi.

This 2-day initiative aims to creatively transform 11 classrooms, directly impacting 579 students by creating a vibrant, joyful, and motivating learning environment.

We are seeking support to cover:

• Materials, paints, and artist charges
• Classroom painting with vibrant colors and educational themes
• Motivational quotes, murals, and student-friendly designs
• Execution by skilled artists and volunteers
• Full logistical support, including refreshments and travel

Why This Program Matters

According to the ASER (Annual Status of Education Report 2024, Karnataka), student drop-out rates in government schools—particularly in rural areas—remain a growing concern. Key contributing factors include:

• Lack of engaging and attractive infrastructure
• Uninspiring classroom environments
• Limited community and stakeholder involvement

Through this School Painting Initiative, Sri Takshashila Gurukul aims to:
