Happiness Kit

Every Child has a dream and every Youngster has an ambition. At Umeed We aim to add some value to their dreams, their ambitions.

Despite so much economic development, some part of the society is still deprived of basic needs like nutritious food, sanitization kits, clothes, etc. and especially during the COVID 19 pandemic this problem got recognized at a national level.

The lack of basic amenities put forward an obstacle to the dreams of many individuals. It has even led to many diseases and completely shattered the aspirations of many. Lack of sanitization liquid has led to the spread of COVID19 in many such places.

Umeed is helping people in the time of need by providing them food and basic amenities in the form of "Happiness Kits". We

are reaching out to the beneficiaries by collaborating with various Orphanages, Child care homes, girl care homes, old age homes and also going on streets and distributing Happiness Kits to the needy. Many Volunteers organize regular awareness sessions for sanitization and nutrition, especially in economically backward areas.

By the end of 2021, we aim at distributing 1,00,000 "Happiness Kits", which would impact almost 10,000 children and youth.

1 Happiness kit would comprise of 1kg of rice, 200 gm dal, 2 20ml handwashing liquid sachets, and 1 soap, which would help an individual for 7 days.
