Every day, thousands of children across India walk into school carrying dreams of a better future. Yet for many of them, something as fundamental as a safe glass of water remains uncertain.

Contaminated drinking water is one of the leading causes of water-borne diseases among school-going children. These illnesses don't just harm their bodies — they keep children away from classrooms, break their concentration, and quietly steal days of learning that can never be recovered. For families who have already sacrificed so much to keep their children in school, this is a burden no one should have to carry.

That is why The Prakaarya Foundation has launched Har School Mein Swachh Paani.

Our mission is simple: install safe, sustainable RO water purification systems in 100 government schools in Bihar where access to clean drinking water is limited or completely unsafe. This means high-quality purifiers, proper plumbing and installation, basic maintenance training for school staff, and regular monitoring to ensure the systems continue serving children for years to come.

Our fundraising goal is ₹40,00,000 — and every rupee raised goes directly toward making this happen.

When a child has access to clean water, everything changes. Fewer illnesses mean better attendance. Better hydration means sharper focus in class. And healthier children grow into stronger, more capable adults. A single purifier in a school doesn't just provide water, it protects hundreds of children, supports their families, and strengthens an entire community.

We are fully committed to transparency. Every installation will be documented with photos and reports. Financial records will be maintained and shared.
