Healthy Meals for Brighter Smiles: NourishKids Initiative

Project Manosakha by Purnkuti focus on the holistic development of children. The project is currently running in Pune at 2 centers (Vadgaon Sheri & Budhwar Peth). The parents of these children are from low-income, migrant labour, single-parent, HIV+ and female sex workers.

Project Manosakha is dedicated to supporting underprivileged children facing social and economic challenges, especially those grappling with basic literacy skills. Purnkuti aims to boost their academic performance through remedial educational assistance. Additionally, we provide nutrition to facilitate physical growth and conduct awareness sessions on health and hygiene, coupled with physical exercise training. Personality development activities like life skills sessions, arts and crafts, and recreational activities are also offered. Furthermore, we extend family counseling and awareness sessions to parents for holistic family development.

Currently, we are providing remedial education support to 70 children.

Through our campaign for Nutritional meal, we will raise funds to support meal programs that prioritize fresh food which are protein-rich foods. By providing consistent access to nutritious meals, we can empower children to thrive and reach their full potential.

One Child's Yearly meal is Rs. 3,000.
