Help 220 Children with Disabilities Discover the Power of Sports

Children with hearing or intellectual disabilities are often excluded from something many of us take for granted—the joy of playing sports. At Vipla Foundation, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow, belong, and thrive.

To bridge this gap, we are launching a sports inclusion programme specially designed for 220 children with disabilities. With your support, we can help these children unlock their potential through structured sports that foster confidence, teamwork, and resilience—skills that go far beyond the playground.

Vipla Foundation, formerly known as Save The Children India, is a 36-year-old non-profit organisation founded by the visionary Mrs. Vipula Kadri. We are committed to empowering underserved women and children through early childhood education, support for hearing-impaired children through special and remedial education, and protection from gender-based violence and human trafficking. Our work has always focused on creating pathways to inclusion, dignity, and equal opportunity.

This fundraiser aims to raise ₹1 Crore over a period of three years to make this programme a reality. The funds will help us bring in trained coaches and mentors, set up inclusive sports infrastructure, provide equipment, ensure transport and accessibility, and conduct regular sessions and inter-school events that these children can look forward to.

Sports can be transformative. It allows children with disabilities to integrate better into schools and society, improves their physical and mental well-being, and builds their self-esteem. But without access, these children are left out—and left behind.
