Help a Girl Child Go to School, Donate school supplies to help them go back to school

The girl child is unwelcome in most parts of our country. In many instances, she is prevented from being born and even if she manages to survive, there are several barriers that block her path to a life of equal opportunity.

Our girls have immense potential to make our country proud – and yet, there are millions of little girls in India who do not get proper healthcare, nutrition or education and who are vulnerable to exploitation. 1 in every 3 child brides in the world is from India and almost 13 million girls work to support their families. Not only are they forced to drop out of school, but they are also deprived of the opportunity to achieve their true potential.

Pre and Post COVID girls have been facing the following challenges leading to increase in dropout rates which are as follows

• Education Expense: Due to financial constraints a lot of parents prefer educating their son instead of their daughter.
• Child Marriage: Girls are forced to drop out of school or never sent to school so that they can be married off early.
• Long Distance to School: In rural areas, children often walk long distances to school. Girls are forced to stay at home due to increased risk of violence.
• Gender Inequality: Often girls are denied education because of the staunch patriarchal norms and belief that they will eventually get married and go to a different family, while the boy will stay with the parents and take care of them
• Household Chores: Many girls are denied education to take up household responsibilities and take care of family members.

PraveenLata Sansthan has been working for Girls Education since 2013 and been working across Rajasthan in and around 30 villages in 10 districts by imparting knowledge to supporting their education through scholarship program, running centers and supporting girls education by providing them essential School Supplies for out of school/Never been to school girls and those who are facing financial challenges to go back to school because of school supplies.

This year we aim to support 21000 such girls in different parts of Rural and Semi Urban parts of Rajasthan  gifting them school supplies and help them step towards a Better Future.

We aim to Support 21000 Girls in Year 2021 from Semi Urban and Rural Parts of Rajasthan who have been impacted financially due to COVID or post COVID and have dropped out or not regular to school because of not having access to Educational Supplies.

• Scholarship Support provided to 560 Girls Out of School in Enrolment
• Educational Supplies Support provided to drop out girls to go back to school till date 19988 in and around 12 villages , 6 Districts of Rajasthan
• Running 1 Remedial Education Center with 100 Girls every year focusing to bridge the gap of education and help girls reenroll in government schools
• Running 1 Community School for Children living in slums who are into Begging and helping them come out of it
• Nutrition Support to 5000+ Children
