Help build a Corpus Fund for i-Saksham

I-Saksham Education and Learning Foundation (i-Saksham) was incorporated in 2015 as a Section 8 Company under the Companies Act 2013.

The org aims to promote 'Voice and Choice for Every Woman' so that they can lead an active social and economic life and shift their typical trajectory away from dropping out of higher education and early marriage. Over time they become active stakeholder in development of self and society.

The women leaders go through a 2-year immersive leadership development program followed by continuous alumni engagement where they:

1. Gain self-belief that their identity matters and gain skills and networks to grow as role models in their communities and beyond. 
2. Collaborate with government schools of their village to enhance the educational inclusion of underserved children and grow as development professionals.
3. Collectivize into a peer-driven community of change agents to promote women's leadership at various levels of socio-economic life.

Current Status:

i-Saksham currently has a network of 550+ leaders in 5 districts of Bihar: Begusarai, Gaya, Jamui, Munger, and Muzaffarpur. A recent third-party impact assessment shows that these young women leaders have had a massive multiplier effect on gender, equity, and education in their communities.

These young women (Edu-leaders) are social change agents in their community, working to build a better education ecosystem. Several are pursuing higher education from prestigious institutes like Azim Premji Institutes, Bangalore, APU Bhopal, TISS, etc. Many alumni remain in the education space by teaching in various capacities, serving as professionals across multiple education organizations, or enrolling in teacher professional courses like D.L Ed., B.Ed. etc.

Where will the funds be used:

The funds raised through this campaign would be used to build a corpus fund, which will help i-Saksham continue towards achievement of its mission sustainably.

It is hereby informed that this donation is towards the corpus fund of the organisation. Therefore, it may be accumulated indefinitely, and the income generated from it be used towards charitable purposes or general expenditure of the organisation.

The corpus fund so created may be managed as per the rule framed by your organisation subject to the relevant applicable laws and statutes of the country.
