Help Build a New School Where Every Child Can Thrive

Every child deserves a place where they can learn, grow, and dream.

For many children with autism, intellectual disabilities, and multiple disabilities, that opportunity is often out of reach. Families struggle to find educational environments that understand their children's unique needs, and many simply cannot afford the specialised support their children require.

SEED (Society to Educate and Empower the Differently Skilled) was founded with a simple belief: every child deserves dignity, opportunity, and the chance to reach their fullest potential.

Today, SEED provides free individualised education, therapies, vocational training, and nutritious meals to children from economically disadvantaged families in Thiruvananthapuram. What began with just two children has now grown into a vibrant community of 32 students, each making remarkable progress in their own unique way.

But our biggest challenge is space.

We currently operate from a rented building that was never designed to meet the needs of children with developmental disabilities. Therapy sessions, learning activities, and vocational training all take place within limited space. As the number of children seeking admission continues to grow, we are forced to turn away families simply because we do not have the room to welcome them.

We dream of changing that.

We have begun constructing a purpose-built school campus at Malamukal, Thiruvananthapuram—a safe, accessible, and nurturing environment designed specifically for our children. The new campus will include:

• Spacious classrooms designed for individualised learning
• Therapy rooms for speech, occupational, and physiotherapy
• Sensory-friendly spaces
• Vocational training facilities
• Accessible infrastructure
• Safe outdoor play and activity areas

Most importantly, the new campus will enable us to support more than 100 children and young adults, ensuring that many more families can access the care, education, and opportunities they deserve.

The total cost of constructing the first phase of the campus is approximately ₹75 lakh.

Through this campaign, we hope to raise ₹15 lakh to help complete the next phase of construction. Every contribution will directly support the creation of classrooms and learning spaces where children can thrive.

This is more than a building.

It is a place where a child will speak their first words.

Where another will learn to write their name.

Where a teenager will discover a vocational skill that leads to independence.

Where parents will find hope for their child's future.
