Help cancer fighters in their treatment and rehabilitation

There are many patients suffering from Cancer and other major diseases. However, patients don’t feel that they are the victims, rather they take it as a challenge and fight it like a warrior. Their life is precious for the society’s point of view, as their fighting spirit and struggle can motivate many other human beings, and act as a therapy for people suffering from depression. Also, they will get an emotional support from the society which in turn will help them fight with the mental illness.

We will identify Cancer and other major fighters. We will document their inspiring stories and bring them to society via different platforms like stage shows, newspaper/magazines, social media etc. Also, we will provide financial help to towards their treatment and rehabilitation. We will also help them in getting financial and other help from government and other agencies working in this field. Cancer resource center will be formed where the information will be gathered and disseminated. Support groups for Cancer patients and their families will be created to spread awareness about the disease.

20 selective Cancer patients will get direct financial assistance from Prayas every year for their treatment. Many more will get financial and other support from government and other agencies, as a result of guidance given by Prayas. The concept of support groups for Cancer and other major illnesses will get popularized and help families and patients also.
