How will your donation help?

A staggering 47.44 million children aged 6–17 are out of school in India (Source: UDISE+ 2023–24). To ensure children who return don’t fall out again, CRY’s Academic Support Centres help them catch up, stay motivated, and rebuild the confidence to continue their education.

CRY’s Academic Support Centres help:

• Conduct support classes using interactive audio-visual platforms to bridge the learning gap and protect children from dropping out of school.
• Help motivate children to continue learning through fun and creative activities like storytelling, singing, dancing, etc.
• Conduct awareness drives on the importance of education for communities and parents and explain ill effects of dropping out of school, child marriage, labour, and trafficking.
• Form children’s collectives to build the agency of children to promote their well-being and give them the confidence to pursue their aspiration.
